 Vintage Schmid Angel figure that plays"A Spoon full of Suger". Just wind her up and she turns as she plays. She is 6 1/2 inches tall.  Nicelyhandpainted with no chips, cracks or breaks. She is in excellent condition.  Schmidt is embossed into the base. Under the base is a sticker that reads Schmid Bros, Inc. Made in Japan.

Written  by Frank Ver Beck, copyrighted in 1935 by The Platt & Munk Co.  A Wee Book for Wee Folks.  It has 29 color illustrations by the author and  is 62 pages long.   This book has a leather woven cloth hard cover and is in excellent condition. The first pages have "This book belongs to...".

Very unusual & unique piece made in Occupied Japan.

This elegant cup was made in the 1940's by Lenwile China.

Painted on the bottom is ARDALT E11GA occupied Japan.

It is 5 1/2 inches tall. Its looks like a small loving cup with handles

 and a small pedestal. Decorated with white, peachy-pink & gold

designs and a small cherub sits on the lid of the dish. 

A truly beautiful and hard to find piece in excellent condition.
